Transitional Housing
StepStone owns and operates 11 homes throughout the Wichita community serving as long-term (up to two years) transitional housing for domestic violence survivors and their families. Stable housing for a period of up to two years is the foundation for StepStone's work to assist domestic violence survivors.
StepStone expanded the number of homes available for survivor families ready for a new beginning with the completion of Bluffview Place, a 28-unit apartment community. This project will relieve StepStone from the property management business and allow more focus on the therapy and support services for domestic violence survivors.
